Founded in 2006 by Adrian Ortega, La Plaza Amherst Taqueria was built on a simple vision: bringing true, uncompromising Mexican flavors to Northeast Ohio. Great store clean and great customer service they have in stock cakes from Paradise Cakes they have Flan de Queso (Cheese Custard), Flan de Vainilla (Custard), Tres Leches, Coconut Flan (Custard), Almond Flavored Cake, and ChocoNutella Cake. Must try excellent cakes!!!

This place has good food and terrible service. I was the only one in the restaurant and stood at the cash register waiting to order for at least 5 minutes, completely ignored by the woman at the grill. I finally walked out without ordering.<br /> Their online ordering system is a joke. I have tried using it in the past only to find the employees never look at their computer to see my order until I walk in.Then they start cooking it.This happens every time. I have tried calling in my order but the lack of English speaking employees makes this a challenge.

Coming from central California, we had been sorely missing our Mexican restaurants until finding this place. The grande burrito is the size of my head, comes with a lot included, and theres a topping bar that is self-service with tons of sauces and extras at no extra charge. Love it!

We can't wait to come back and try more! Everything we had was delicious from the tacos, tamales and topping bar, to the horchata at the massive ice cream bar in the back portion of the restaurant! 5 stars!

Came for the first time and had always wanted to go to the Cleveland location. Ordered the taco combo with al pastor, barbacoa, and carne asada. The carne asada was the best I’ve had in a long time. Also tried the chicken and the pork tamales—both were very good! They offer 11 for $15 with a 3-5 day notice for large tamale orders so this may be my family’s new spot for our Christmas tamales. The horchata, chips and guac, and toppings from the little bar were all fresh and delicious. Very happy with this little gem and will be back to hopefully try their Michoachana ice cream parlor next!
